Wave Curve in York

Project Background

The brief

The owners of this unusual shaped kitchen area, part of a new ‘living space’ extension to their detached home near York, had almost given up hope of finding a satisfactory solution to their awkwardly shaped room when they discovered Metris.

The Metris solution

The designers at specialist Metris retailer, The Winchmore Studio, were able to create a unique design based on the Wave Curve signature, with a totally bespoke curved island. The chosen finishes were Matt Sand, Linear Wenge and Textured Wenge with co-ordinated stainless steel square knobs, Kasmir White granite worksurfaces and wenge breakfast bar to finish the modern kitchen which the owners boast ‘it’s absolutely fabulous!’
