Fitted Curve in a London apartment

Project Background

The brief

When he bought a brand-new, totally open-plan apartment in London, Mehmet was faced with a completely blank canvas. Rather than feeling intimidated by the challenge, he asked C&C Kitchens to design a bold and very personal kitchen statement.

The Metris solution

To create a dedicated kitchen space without losing the airy, open-plan feel, Mehmet opted for a Fitted Curve in high-gloss Minty Zebrano. The distinctive U-shaped layout defined the kitchen area from the rest of the living space, and choosing Fitted Curve enabled Mehmet to maximise the space available (especially in the corners) and to avoid an overly linear effect. Furnishings in Linear Wenge veneer created a striking but complementary contrast, and white quartz worktops completed the contemporary look.
