Design Philosophy
Metris is a cutting-edge luxury British kitchen collection presented as 8 signature looks. You could interpret any of these into an inspirational kitchen design for your own home, and our striking fascia combinations allow you to create a bespoke design statement that’s all your own.
Design-led, but liveable
We wanted to create a really contemporary kitchen range to compete with the very best that Europe can offer. But we also wanted something real: a kitchen that’s functional as well as beautiful; a kitchen for relaxing, working and socialising. And while we recognise that people want a luxurious, stunning kitchen to show off and be proud of, Metris is far from pretentious.
Built on research
Before we developed Metris, we did an extensive review of premium European furniture, trends, styles and materials. We visited the big furniture fairs (such as Milan and Cologne); we drew on inspiration from architecture, fashion and lifestyles; and we looked at materials and design approaches from other creative industries. That’s why the result is beautiful, functional and long-lasting.
Designed for British homes
Metris unites contemporary kitchen design with the realities of the space available in the typical British home. Some people have more space, some have less—but Metris will work within almost any space. To achieve this, we also worked with some of Europe’s foremost suppliers to produce a superb-quality product: robust, innovative and clever.
Refreshingly different
Our approach is to create a complete kitchen solution—not just a range of doors. Both aesthetically and practically, Metris is your complete luxury kitchen. And, unlike other kitchen brands, we focus on distinctive signature looks to create something unique for your own home. Plus, we offer a range of styles, from the geometric to opulent curves for both furniture and worksurfaces.
Flexible & versatile
Each of Metris’ signature looks can be interpreted into your own personalised design. Plus, there are styles to suit the diverse architecture of British homes—from city apartments to period mansions. And our striking palette includes bold zebrano stripes and interesting textures, enabling you to bring as much drama as you like into your kitchen.
